THE FUTURE
Through the Darkness began its journey back in 2008. At that time, all members were still in high school. Over the last 15 years, the artist group has experienced its own lows, highs, and everything in between. Doubt, frustration, artistic differences. They started this project with zero experience in how to manage, market and brand a band. Although much has changed since then, all current members are proud to still be pursuing their passion for music.

With soon to be 15 music videos under their belt, Through the Darkness has done what most young bands and artists wish to do; inspire. Inspiring an individual to be a musician is one thing, but to inspire someone to keep living…that’s something else. “Fragile” has given many listeners another chance at a brighter tomorrow, and that is what inspires us to keep creating the art that is, Through the Darkness.
“Moonlit Masquerade” was our biggest collaboration yet with over 70 people being involved. Before Moonlit, we released our most notable music video to date, “Saving Silhouettes”. Saving Silhouettes has been an official selection in four Iowa film festivals as well as winning the highest award possible at the Iowa Motion Picture Association, the “Award of Excellence”.
What does the future hold for us? Does anyone really know? We make plans and plans change, however, with persistence and patience we should see results. Through the Darkness has been working on a project for quite some time now and it’s finally going to see the light of day.
